Love this place! I have worked on 2 pieces there now. One of them is taking me a few sessions which is thankfully accepted. Sally is welcoming, relaxed, knowledgeable and loves her business. She has set up the cafe in a very cosy way. I think it will be my more regular chill-out place. Try the food too! After tea and cheese platter are delicious.

We held a hen do for 13 people at Made By Me and had the best afternoon. Sally made the whole experience easy, relaxed and stress free. She let us enjoy the afternoon but was on hand to help with any painting tips when we needed them. The venue is beautiful and she even went out of her way to take photos for us which meant we could relax and truly enjoy the afternoon. Thank you so much Sally. Highly recommend for any group gathering or event. Lauren, Lauren and all of Jo's hens!

My boyfriend and I had the loveliest time here! Neither of us are artsy but we were guided through everything. The host was really friendly and answered all of our (often very obvious) questions without us feeling silly. The atmosphere was really chill and I’d highly recommend it to anyone even no matter artistic ability. Bonus points for the rocky road (10/10)

I took my daughter (10) and her 5 friends to Made By Me Pottery Studio during the February half-term. This was my first visit and we actually drove over from Brighton. I knew when I saw the Jellycat-themed workshop advertised, that my daughter and her friends would absolutely love it, and they did. It was easy to find the shop, and there were lots of free on-street parking spaces!! The shop itself is really well-designed and modern. We were made to feel welcome immediately and it was a very calm and enjoyable experience. Even with 6 kids! The girls absolutely loved the workshop; they were given the clay, equipment, and support to make whichever Jellycat-themed item they wanted. They could also make more than one if they wanted to within their clay allowance and the hour-and-a-half workshop. Sally was very knowledgeable about the process, she offered exactly the right amount of help needed whilst still allowing the girls to make it for themselves. She engaged with them perfectly. Once they had finished making them they got to paint them too. There is also cafe, I had a hot drink whilst they were creating. Can’t wait to go back and pick their creations up when they are ready. Will definitely go back again, well worth the drive.
