Me and my partner had our wedding here on the 18th of April and were very happy! The setting is beautiful (the sun definitely helped!) and the geese wandering about put a smile on everyone's face. The food was delicious and they catered well to our vegan and vegetarian guests. The ladies who served were wonderful, very friendly and well mannered. We booked all the rooms at the hotel and got the full venue for the wedding, which made it a beautiful and private affair. It was very good value for money on our reduced budget but there wasn't any part of the day we were not happy with. High recommended!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights during a trip down south to visit family - like any hotel it has a few downfalls such as intermittently faulty showers and uneven rooms but it was made up for with wonderful service, a warm/welcome/homely service and a great night's sleep - would definitely stay here again!! Our room was up in the attic with beautiful views over the farm and we were blown away by the price!!

We stayed for my son’s birthday, They put us in a room viewing the downs very accommodating, My little boy was so happy. Unfortunately he was poorly in the night so we missed breakfast and sleep 😂 When we came down to hand keys back they were lovely and asked if we would like to be cooked something even tho it was past the set breakfast time was so kind of them. We declined as needed to get little one home. Such a lovely place.

We’ve hosted a few events here lately like sound baths etc. and they’ve been lovely. The main room is so cosy and perfect for what we need. I also host one of my fitness classes here - for adults with learning disabilities, they all love the space 💖
