Views Wood

Views Wood is a three-bedroom house in Uckfield, sleeping up to five. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second two singles, and the third a single, with a bathroom upstairs that combines bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining room contains an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer—enough to cook proper meals rather than holiday basics. A separate living room has a Smart TV with Freeview. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included, and one well-behaved dog stays free.

The property sits in a market town surrounded by countryside, with Ashdown Forest to the north—the heathland and woodland that inspired A.A. Milne—and the South Downs within reach. Brighton, Eastbourne and Seaford are all a short drive away. Locally, you'll find Sheffield Park & Garden, Lewes Castle, and the Bluebell Railway. Uckfield itself has supermarkets, cafés, pubs and a cinema. At the property itself, there's a back garden with a sitting area and parking for two cars on site. No smoking indoors.

Plenty of trails through the woods, with lots of shade. Very popular with dog walkers.

Views wood is an ancient woodland leading to Buxted park, great place to walk your dog other dog walkers are very respectful and always put their dog on a lead which is so good as I have a reactive dog. Always keep to the path as this wood is ancient, so respect the wild native flowers there.

Good woods to wander around with the dogs, many paths to follow and a great splash area for them to cool down.

This woodland is absolutely brilliant for dog walking. There are many paths to take which lead you in a cicuit or into the Rugby Club or Buxted park. Make sure to come in the spring for the bluebells, autumn for the falling leaves and Winter when it snows. Some paths can get pretty muddy after rain however, so be prepared for that.
