🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Beech cottage

West Devon

View on Google Maps

Beech Cottage is an inverted barn conversion where the bedroom sits downstairs and living spaces occupy the first floor. You enter to find a king-size bed in an ensuite room that opens onto a rear terrace, with the shower room fitted with modern fittings and a heated towel rail. Climb the stairs and the whole upper level is given over to an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, flooded with light and designed around countryside views.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine are all there. Heating comes from an air source heat pump with underfloor heating running throughout, while wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a front garden and rear terrace both have seating areas and furniture; there is parking for one car on site and a bike store. The cottage sits near the Tarka Trail, part of Sustrans Cycleway 27, which connects North and South Devon over 80 miles, and Abbeyford Woods is within easy reach for a walk. No smoking is permitted.
