Fisherman's Cottage - The Nook is a converted granite barn sleeping two in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, near Dartmeet. The whole property is yours alone. Everything needed for a self-catering stay comes as standard: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. A welcome pack and continental breakfast are provided on arrival. The single bedroom has a kingsize bed; the shower room includes a heated towel rail. Downstairs, the kitchen is properly equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, making it straightforward to prepare meals or do laundry. The living area has a television and dvd player. There is parking for one car on site, and an electric vehicle charging point is available at cost. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The cottage sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the River Dart, with walks starting from the doorstep along the river and onto open moorland. Dartmeet's clapper bridge is one of Dartmoor's most visited spots. Widecombe-in-the-Moor, a few miles away, has pubs, the famous 'Cathedral on the Moors' church, and tea rooms. Castle Drogo and other National Trust properties are within reach. Villages like Chagford and Ashburton, with independent shops, inns and restaurants, lie within 8 miles. The property does not permit smoking.
