One Eden Cottage

West Lothian's coastline and countryside draw families and groups looking for space and quiet. One Eden Cottage sits within Williamscraig Holiday Cottages, a working complex where the owners have spent two decades building connections with local businesses—from catering to beauty therapists to knife and axe throwing instructors. The setting itself is part of the draw: guests can watch a badger sett via live camera, observe a half-acre pond, and spot greater spotted woodpeckers at the bird feeders.

The cottage sleeps seven across two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms, plus a family bathroom. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with a wood burner, a kitchen fitted for cooking from scratch, and a sofa bed in the second sitting room. Upstairs holds a kingsize bedroom and a twin room. The essentials—electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are included, as is the initial fuel for the wood burner. Outside, a private hot tub seats six, and there is garden seating and parking for three cars. Travel cots, high chairs and stair gates are available. One Eden can be booked alongside its mirror cottage to sleep fourteen guests across four bedrooms.

The property is non-smoking. Families with young children will find the setup practical; groups will appreciate the scale and the facilities on hand. One dog is welcome.
