Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a converted stone barn arranged across two floors with an open plan ground level that combines living, dining and kitchen space around a wood burner. The layout means you walk into a generous social area where the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and all the basics—so meal preparation doesn't feel cramped or separate from the rest of the cottage. The sitting space opens onto a garden with furniture and a six-person hot tub.

Upstairs, a galleried landing holds a double sofa bed, useful for additional guests or as a quiet breakaway spot for children. Two of the three bedrooms have king beds; the third has a pair of single beds. The master bedroom includes an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom on the ground floor serves the other bedrooms. The cottage sleeps eight and takes one pet. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner.

Linlithgow is near the coast of West Lothian, and the cottage provides private parking for three cars. It's a whole property to yourself, with no smoking inside.
