The Coach House occupies part of a converted estate steading on Harburn Estate, a thousand-acre private property near Livingston. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms serve up to eight guests; the ground floor holds a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burner, while bedrooms are split between ground and first floors. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave—and the living space has a sofa bed, two armchairs, a television and a dining table for eight. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with initial logs for the burner.
The estate's landscaped grounds contain woodland, lochs and parkland to walk through. A pub is within a mile, and Harburn Golf Club with its bistro is equally close. Livingston itself offers shops and restaurants. The location sits handily for day trips: Edinburgh and Glasgow are reachable by motorway or train from West Calder station; Stirling, the Trossachs and Loch Lomond are roughly an hour's drive away. The grounds include a pond and stream, and there is parking for three cars on site. No smoking inside the property.
