Fantastic place! Gorgeous views, great pod with toilet. Really comfy and spacious for both of us. POD comes with kettle, microwave and fridge. We also had tea, coffee, milk and biscuits with cups which was lovely! Would definitely stay here again!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Exceptional Stay at Hilly Cow – A Hidden Gem Near Edinburgh! Our stay at Hilly Cow was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness — the hosts are truly some of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. Their hospitality made us feel right at home straight away. The location is fantastic — set amidst beautiful countryside with breathtaking views, yet only a short and easy drive to the Edinburgh Shopping Mall. Parking there was simple, and we hopped on the tram with a day pass to explore all the magic of Edinburgh without any hassle. It was the best of both worlds: peaceful rural charm and easy city access. The farm-fresh eggs and milk provided by the hosts were a delightful touch — you can literally taste the freshness! The facilities were spotless and thoughtfully designed: a lovely bath service, a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, and cozy, homely touches everywhere. Every little detail made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. What really sets Hilly Cow apart is the homely environment and the way everything feels so genuine and cared for. You wake up to stunning views, breathe in fresh air, and feel instantly recharged. It’s the perfect getaway whether you’re a family, a couple, or just someone wanting to unwind close to nature. Honestly, this place has it all — comfort, cleanliness, charm, and character — and the hosts go above and beyond to make every guest feel special. We can’t recommend Hilly Cow highly enough and will definitely be returning soon. ✨ A perfect countryside retreat just minutes from Edinburgh — what more could you ask for!

We stayed here for a couple of nights to go and see Oasis. We love camping and glamping so it was right up our street. Showers, full kitchen with all utensils and crockery in the communal kitchen, play room and tv, games ect. Theres wifi and a really helpful and lovely owner in Lesley who went above and beyond for us. Such a great place not too far from Kirknewton where there's everything you need and a train station right into Edinburgh. For the price, there's not much more you could ever need. Lovely place. For context. We booked a standard which is in the image and it was fine. Massive bed, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster with cups and tea and coffee.

If you’re visiting Edinburgh, definitely consider staying just 35 minutes out from the city centre. These pods face the sunset with the cows, countryside, and the lights of the city in the distance giving you a 10/10 view in the summer. Would definitely recommend and return!
