Hazelnut Cottage

Hazelnut Cottage suits couples seeking a self-contained retreat in the Oxfordshire countryside. The single bedroom contains a king bed, and the ensuite has a bath with shower. Everything happens on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and other essentials, and a games room. Biomass heating keeps the place warm, and the open fire (fuel included) provides additional cosiness. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all provided.

The cottage sits within Heath Farm, a restored complex of five stone farm buildings converted into luxury holiday lets. The 70-acre grounds contain woodland and meadows to explore. Shared facilities include a lawned courtyard with a BBQ, an external games room with pool table, table tennis, dartboard and exercise equipment, a games shed stocked with croquet, badminton and giant Jenga, and bike storage. There is a pond 440 yards from the cottage. You have private parking on site, plus an electric car charging point. The location lies between Chipping Norton and Banbury, within reach of the Cotswold Baking Ltd and other local attractions. Smoking is not permitted inside.
