Walk through the front door of Chestnut Grange and you're met with serious space: a living room and separate dining room flow off the entrance, while a study provides a quieter retreat. The kitchen is built for cooking, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and American fridge freezer. Upstairs, five bedrooms are arranged across two floors—three with their own bathrooms, the others sharing facilities—with beds ranging from king to four-poster double, and the flexibility to convert zip-and-link beds into singles if needed. A games room with pool table sits on the first floor, and outside there's a private hot tub in the enclosed garden, plus parking for three cars.

The property sleeps ten and sits in Barrow, midway between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds. It works equally well for large family gatherings or groups of friends wanting their own bathrooms and space to spread out. Essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are covered, and one small dog is welcome. The surrounding area has two pubs in the village itself, convenience stores for supplies, and further afield are Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey—both National Trust properties with extensive grounds. Bury St Edmunds, a short drive away, offers independent cinemas, restaurants and the ruins of the Abbey Gardens beside the cathedral.
