Attended a function at this holiday park for NY. The park residents were in good spirits, dancing eating and drinking.

Was looking to buy a second hand static caravan. The managers I dealt with were honest, professional, kind and not greedy which is a rare find in this caravan park industry. They have a rewilding and care for nature and animals scheme happening there. From bees to owls it’s special. I didn’t end up buying as didn’t fit the criteria which shoes they don’t just let anyone buy. Lovely people.

We love it. It's not a residential park but is open 11 months of the year. No touring vans or motorhomes. All caravan holiday homes are privately owned. You must be over 50 yrs. Visitors are welcome, including children/grandchildren as long as the owner is present. Quiet and peaceful, with a special focus on protecting local wildlife. Stunning opportunities to observe owls, foxes, rabbits, birds, squirrels and deer locally. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on lead in the park and have their own private exercise field to play in! The park wardens are kind and helpful and keep the park atmosphere as it should be. The clubhouse is great! Only open 3 days a week but they have lots of fun events and the simple pub-style food is really good. Tasty, generous portions, and excellent value. Book ahead as it's all freshly cooked. We have found everyone to be friendly and respectful and made friends very quickly. Definitely the best decision we made.
