Stayed here for a week, absolutely loved it even though with the festival going on in Stornaway the campsite got quite busy. Each day we got an email with information on local caterers delivering food or stopping by with the pizza horse box or delivering breakfast which we ordered twice as the scrambled eggs were amazing. The facilities are kept very clean and I love the fact you can get a whole wee room to yourself to shower etc We had trouble with our van at the start of the week and needed AA to get us to a garage. The campsite were so helpful and offered lifts to and from garage if we needed them …… luckily we got fixed the same day it went in so the holiday could commence again without loosing too much time. I would definitely use this campsite again, it really made the holiday easier and more fun. The Shawbost beach is an easy walk away and so is the Muileann and Ath Norse Mill and Kiln both beautiful and worth a look especially the Mill

Great place to stop over in our motorhome. Ian was very welcoming and went well out of his way, proactively, to help us with a mechanical issue. Really great! The bathrooms and showers were properly clean, lots of hot water and 8mins of shower for £1 felt like good value. There were good facilities for laundry and dish washing, with seating/tables to eat indoors if you were camping or wanted to get out of your van. Altogether a great stopover.

Great site, good hard standing pitches with hook up not too far away. Big indoor space with kettle, toaster, microwave and sinks plus seating. Showers and toilets spotless. Sunday night there was an option to have takeaway delivered and options for breakfast delivery too. Couldn’t fault. Just remember to take coins for shower.

loved it campsite - from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. i actually emailed ahead of our arrival as when we were taking our tent down from our previous location i managed to snap my elastic in my tent pole. Iain the owner at this campsite called me back and said he could help me out. And he did - one tent pole fixed in no time. He has a shed with years of spaces saved up just in case. Lovely site. Generous well looked after tent and motorhome pitches. The whole site was well looked after and spotless. great facilities too. A lovely well run site by a lovely friendly family - if you miss stopping here you’re missing a treat.
