Aisgill Farm Cottage is a detached stone building that has been restored to working order while keeping its character intact. Original stone floors run through the ground floor, where an electric woodburner sits in the living room and a Rayburn stove anchors the kitchen. Upstairs, a single double bedroom and shower room look out over rolling fields and the River Eden beyond. The cottage sleeps two and comes to you complete—bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included, and there is a welcome pack on arrival.

The ground floor holds a living room with a 43-inch smart TV, a combined kitchen and dining area with everything needed for self-catering, and a conservatory. Outside, an enclosed garden has furniture for sitting out. Two cars can park on site, and there is a bike store. The property sits on a working beef and sheep farm in the Eden Valley, positioned roughly halfway between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. From here you can walk into either national park, or cycle quiet country lanes without leaving the farm. No smoking is permitted indoors.
