Peggy’s Barn

Kirkby Stephen lies a short drive away, with shops, pubs and restaurants. From there, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Lake District are both accessible, along with the Settle to Carlisle Railway for those interested in heritage rail journeys. The surrounding area offers plenty of scope for walking and outdoor pursuits across largely open countryside.

The barn itself is set above Mallerstang Valley on a private track. Three bedrooms accommodate six people: a kingsize on the ground floor with ensuite shower, two single beds in a second room, and a bunk bed in the third. The ground floor also has a family bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, a living room with television and DVD player opens to a kitchen/dining space equipped for cooking, with dishwasher and washing machine included. Ground source underfloor heating and electricity are covered, along with wifi, bed linen and towels. An enclosed garden has seating areas and furniture. Private parking fits two cars. No smoking throughout.
