Beech Hollow
Westmorland and Furness
Beech Hollow is a well-equipped lodge sleeping six in three bedrooms across two bathrooms. Everything is laid on for self-catering—the kitchen has what you need to cook properly, while heating from both a heat pump and wood-burning stove keeps the place warm through the year. Wifi, bed linen and towels are included, and there's private parking outside.
The main living space is open plan, with a lounge, dining area and kitchen flowing together. A leather sofa faces the TV and DVD player, there are books and films to hand, and the dining table sits in a bay window overlooking the garden. Patio doors open into a sunny conservatory, the kind of room that works equally well for morning coffee or an afternoon with a book. The lodge sits on a rural lodge park with views across the Eden Valley towards the northern Pennines and glimpses of Blencathra. A pub is within a mile. The location suits anyone after a Lakeland base—Ullswater, fell walks, riding and water sports are all a short drive away. No smoking.
