Villa Villekulla

Villa Villekulla is a detached lodge with everything you need for a self-catering break. The open-plan living space brings everyone together around a woodburner and smart TV, while the kitchen is properly fitted—electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer all there. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included. Bedrooms comprise a double with ensuite shower, a bunk room, and a twin; there's also a second bathroom with a bath and shower. One small dog is welcome, and you'll have private parking for two cars.

The lodge sits on a small development in farmland countryside, about four miles north of Ullswater. From here you can reach Penrith, Keswick and Carlisle within 30 minutes' drive, or head to Hadrian's Wall, Aira Force and the Eden Valley nearby. A decked area with garden furniture looks out over the grounds. Access is from ground level, though there are slopes in the garden. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 17:00 and departure before 09:00.
