Bluebell Cottage comes with everything needed for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge; a separate freezer sits in the rear porch alongside the washing machine. The living room contains a woodburner, Freeview TV and DVD player. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and heating and electricity are covered in the price. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one bathroom featuring a bath and shower.

Set in a row of former quarry workers' cottages above Coniston Water, the property sits within walking distance of the lake itself, with numerous fell walks starting from the door. The village of Coniston offers shops, pubs and restaurants within a quarter-mile. An enclosed terraced garden provides outdoor space with views toward the water, and there is parking nearby (permit included). Bikes and canoes can be stored at the property. No smoking. A cot and highchair are available by request.
