Claife

Claife is a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a Bowness property, sleeping four across a double and two singles. The open-plan living area has a television, and the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. One bathroom serves the bedrooms, with a bath and shower over it. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and there is private parking for one car on site.

Bowness sits on the edge of Lake Windermere, with boat trips, paddleboarding and kayaking all within reach. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is in town, as are Blackwell (an Arts & Crafts house) and Fell Foot Park for lakeside walks. Independent shops, cafés and restaurants line the streets. A pub is within a mile. The Lake District's fell paths and viewpoints are nearby for those wanting to hike higher. The property is on the first floor, approached by 15 steps. Smoking is not permitted.
