Coopers Cottage
Westmorland and Furness
A pub sits within walking distance, and the Lake District National Park spreads across the landscape for exploration. Coopers Cottage itself is a two-bedroom terraced property on a quarter-acre plot, with an enclosed patio garden that faces open ground beyond. One bedroom has a double bed, the other a single; there is one bathroom with a bath and shower. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining area with a wood-burning stove, plus a kitchen equipped for full self-catering. Air-source underfloor heating and the multi-fuel burner keep things warm in winter; summer guests can use the garden furniture and barbecue outside.
Essentials including electricity, heating fuel, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided. A high chair is available if needed. The cottage sits close enough to main roads for easy access around the area, but far enough back that you hear little beyond birdsong and wind in trees. A small stream runs through the grounds, which are reached by eight steps from the cottage itself. The beach is five miles away; a shop four miles. Pets are welcome and stay free. There is no smoking inside.
