Four Seasons comes ready for a self-catering break with essentials covered: electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The kitchen is comprehensively fitted out for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and coffee machine mean you can prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full meal. A wood burner in the living room provides extra warmth on cooler evenings, with logs available locally.
The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a super kingsize on the first floor, a single with a pull-out single in the second bedroom, and a single in the third. There is one bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room has a 32-inch TV and DVD player. Outside, a lawned garden with patio and furniture faces the river, and there is parking for one car on site. The property is no-smoking. Note that the garden has an unfenced drop and a fenced river five yards away, with 11 steps leading down into the garden itself.
The location is on the River Kent in countryside that changes with the seasons. A shop is half a mile away; a pub and restaurant are a mile and a half off. The Dales Way runs past the door, leading to Staveley, while Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere are within a short drive.
