Staveley Park
Westmorland and Furness
Staveley Park is a Grade II listed detached house that sleeps eight across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor contains two separate living spaces, each with a woodburner, plus a well-equipped kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher and coffee machine, alongside a utility room housing washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor holds the master bedroom with its four-poster super kingsize bed and ensuite with bath, plus two further kingsize bedrooms served by a family bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs, a twin room with exposed beams has its own ensuite shower room. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests.
Outside, the property sits within its own grounds with an enclosed garden, terrace, garden furniture and shared barbecue. There is parking for five cars on site. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating and hot water are covered by the rent, with logs provided for the woodburners. One well-behaved pet may stay at no extra charge. The house is set 300 yards from Staveley village, at the foot of the Kentmere Valley between Kendal and Windermere, making it accessible to both lowland walking and fell country. Smoking is not permitted inside.
