Staveley is a working village at the foot of the Kentmere Valley, with a gastropub, brewery, bakery, butcher and grocer within easy reach. The River Gowan runs through it, meeting the River Kent nearby. Staveley Park Studio sits within the grounds of a converted farm building, positioned to take in the surrounding gardens from its own balcony.
The studio is a single open-plan space on the first floor, sleeping two in a kingsize bed. A living area with a woodburner and smart TV flows into a dining section and a kitchenette fitted with an electric hob, air fryer and microwave. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the fire are provided to start with. One car can park on site. The studio does not allow smoking.
Dogs and cats stay free. A pub is within a mile. The village has a railway station if you're coming by train, and Windermere and Kendal are both nearby for exploring further afield.
