High Park House is a detached cottage built from stone, standing in open countryside between two of England's most significant landscapes. The Lake District lies to the west, the Yorkshire Dales to the east, making it a natural base for anyone wanting to explore either on foot or by car. Kirkby Stephen is a short drive away, with independent shops, pubs and a dog-friendly park.
The ground floor centres on a spacious living space that combines lounge, dining and kitchen, with a woodburning stove providing warmth and character. A utility room with washing machine sits off the kitchen, and a bathroom with bath and shower serves this level. Upstairs are three bedrooms—two with kingsize beds and one with two singles—plus an ensuite shower room. The property sleeps six across these rooms. One dog can stay at no extra charge.
Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the stove and a welcome pack. There is off-road parking on site and a bike store. The house is non-smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
