Walking into Hillside House, you step into a generous hallway that opens onto a layout built for gathering. The ground floor spreads across a bay-windowed living room at the front, a dining room set with antique furniture and a table for eight, and a kitchen that combines country style with modern essentials—electric cooker, Rayburn, dishwasher and washing machine all fitted in. From the dining room, you can step straight out to the enclosed rear garden with its sitting area.
The first floor holds two bathrooms: one with a full-size bath and shower, the other a walk-in shower room. Two double bedrooms are also here, one overlooking the front with reading chairs and natural light from tall sash windows, the other at the rear with an original fireplace. Two further flights of stairs reach the top floor: a bedroom with a super king bed and single, and another double. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and heating are provided, along with parking for one car on site. One well-behaved dog stays free.
This three-storey Victorian terrace suits families and groups exploring Westmorland and Furness. Kirkby Lonsdale's market town sits near Lunesdale Hall, with walks from the door. The property does not permit smoking, and there is a step leading into the garden.
