Treadle Cottage

Kirkby Lonsdale is a working market town in Westmorland and Furness, surrounded by the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Treadle Cottage sits on a central street within a few minutes' walk of independent traders, cafés serving proper food, pubs and the weekly market. From the roof terrace you look out over the town's rooflines towards open countryside beyond.

The cottage spreads across two floors with a ground-floor living and dining space heated by a woodburning stove, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and a bathroom upstairs alongside two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles. A small patio and garden furniture occupy the terrace. One dog is welcome. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; initial logs for the stove come with the booking. The garden has three steps. There is on-road parking outside.

Walking routes—including the Ingleton Waterfalls trail—begin from the town, and the Dales and Lakes are within reach for day trips. Smoking is not permitted inside.
