Ivycroft

Ivycroft sits in countryside that opens onto views of the lake, with the fells rising beyond. The cottage is within reach of village shops, pubs and restaurants on foot, and comes with private parking if you'd rather not walk. The setting makes it possible to explore the area without relying on your car, though having one means you can reach the wider Lake District easily.

Inside, two bedrooms and a bathroom serve four guests comfortably. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, so cooking proper meals is straightforward. The open-plan living space has a woodburning stove and a dining table, along with comfortable seating and a TV. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are all included. The cottage is non-smoking.

The rural location suits anyone wanting a quiet base with easy access to walking, watersports on the lake, or days out across the region. Cots and highchairs are available if you need them.
