A short walk from Coniston Water's shore, Lake Bank Lodge sits on elevated ground within Crake Valley Park, a woodland conservation area. The contemporary lodge is arranged on a single floor, with an open-plan living space that includes a wood burner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and patio doors opening onto a small garden with decked seating. Three bedrooms sleep six: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other two each with a pair of singles. A second bathroom has both bath and shower cubicle. The hot tub on the decking faces out across the water towards the surrounding fells.
Ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, plus Wi-Fi. There's parking for two cars on site. Steps lead down from the parking area to the lodge entrance. Access to 3 acres of natural land on the wider property is shared with other lodges. The location works year-round, whether for fell walking straight from the door—Blawith Common and Beacon Tarn are within reach—or simply sitting with views. Coniston Water itself is minutes away for boating and swimming. No smoking inside.
