Ullswater stretches across the valley floor just a short walk from this converted barn in the Lake District National Park. The setting is quiet countryside with the water's edge within easy reach, and a pub sits barely half a mile away. The steamer jetty lies two miles off if you want a morning on the lake itself.
Lake View Farm is a self-contained property with one bedroom—a kingsize with an ensuite shower—and open plan living, dining and kitchen areas where you can see across to the water. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. There's a utility room with washing machine and freezer, and a small garden plus a cobbled courtyard with a picnic table for sitting outside. Two cars can park on site, and a travel cot and highchair are available if you need them. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking in the property.
Guests with one dog are welcome. The barn works well for two people and suits anyone wanting a base for fell walks, lake activities or simply time away from busier parts of the Lakes—Keswick and Windermere are nearby but this corner feels removed from the crowds.
