Lapwing Lodge

Lapwing Lodge works equally well for a couple wanting space to spread out, a family needing room for children, or a small group of friends. The entire property is yours alone, with three bedrooms across a single floor: a kingsize, a zip-and-link pair of singles, and bunk beds. A bathroom with bath and shower, open-plan living and dining areas, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking are arranged so nothing feels cramped. Everything you need is covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The hot tub sits on decking overlooking the grounds, and one dog can come too, as long as it stays on a lead in this sheep country. The lodge sits within seven acres, shared with other properties on-site, which has a wildlife pond, a small stream, mature woodland, a barbecue area and children's play equipment. Ravenstonedale village is nearby, and Kirkby Stephen market town is close enough for a day out. There is on-site parking for two cars. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00; smoking is not permitted inside.
