Swaledale Lodge
Westmorland and Furness
Ravenstonedale village lies a mile away with several pubs serving local food, while Kirkby Stephen—home to the Settle-Carlisle Railway—is six miles off. The Lake District National Park surrounds the area, and numerous walks start from nearby. Swaledale Lodge itself occupies seven acres of private grounds on the valley floor, with shared facilities including a children's play area, barbecue and wildlife pond across the estate.
The lodge is single-storey, with all three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms connect to their own shower rooms; the third uses a separate bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Beds are zip-and-link singles that can be pushed together as kingsize doubles on request. The open-plan living and dining space has a woodburner and French doors onto a decking area, where a private hot tub sits ready for six people. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Heating comes from an air source heat pump. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are provided. Parking is available for two cars. The property does not permit smoking.
