Meadowcroft Cottage

Meadowcroft Cottage sits on the eastern shore of Windermere, in the Storrs Park area between the lake's top and bottom. Bowness-on-Windermere is close by for shops, restaurants and attractions; the ferry to Hawkshead is within reach. The location gives you easy access to fell walks and the wider Lake District while remaining separate from the busier parts of the village.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double and a twin. Downstairs, the living and dining space has a smart TV and large windows that let in plenty of daylight; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking. A shower cubicle serves the single bathroom. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. There is private parking on site and a lawned garden area. No smoking throughout.

The property works well for couples or small families wanting a base to explore the lake and surrounding countryside. It is holiday lets only.
