Melody comes fully equipped for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave; both bedrooms contain double beds; there's a bathroom with bath and shower; and the living space includes a Freeview Smart TV. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. You have private parking for one car on site.

The apartment occupies the ground floor in Bowness-on-Windermere town centre, just twelve steps from the entrance. Shops, restaurants and bars line the surrounding streets. Lake Windermere itself is the draw for most visitors—boat hire, paddle boarding, and lake cruises to Ambleside or Lakeside are all within reach. The Beatrix Potter attraction, Royalty Cinema, and Grasmere village (home to Wordsworth's grave and its famous gingerbread shop) are nearby drives. For walkers, Orrest Head offers lake views from a relatively short climb, and the Lake District fells lie a short distance away.

The property sleeps four and suits families or two couples. Smoking is not permitted.
