Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen sit within easy reach, both market towns worth exploring for independent shops and walking routes into the Howgills. Needle House itself occupies a secluded spot surrounded by woodland and a large enclosed garden—the kind of location where you can step outside without seeing another building, yet you're not cut off from the attractions of the southern Lake District and the Pennines. The property sleeps 10 across four bedrooms: a double and single on the first floor, two singles and a double on the top floor, and another double on the ground floor. Two bathrooms serve the house, one with a roll-top bath and shower, the second with a shower cubicle and bath.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, range and dishwasher for cooking proper meals. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Heating comes from an air source heat pump. The living room has a Freeview Smart TV for quieter evenings. Outside, a sitting area and garden furniture occupy the rear garden; there's a children's play area, and space for three cars to park on site. The house accepts no smoking. Families with young children will find a travel cot and highchair available.
