Newstead
Westmorland and Furness
Between Bowness and Windermere, where the Lake District landscape meets the village bustle, Newstead is a Victorian villa from 1897 converted for holiday lets. Built for space and comfort rather than cramped quarters, it accommodates twelve guests across six bedrooms, each with its own shower room, making it well-suited to multi-generational trips or group celebrations where everyone needs independence. The ground floor holds one bedroom and the main living areas; five more bedrooms occupy the first floor.
The kitchen comes equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, two microwaves and a full-size fridge—and there's a separate dining room, breakfast room and generous living space. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Outside, an enclosed courtyard and terraced gardens provide outdoor space, with parking for three cars at the rear. The entrance is accessible via two steps; there is also one step into the rear courtyard.
Bowness town centre and the Windermere waterfront are within walking distance. No smoking inside the property.
