Great location with walking distance to the town centre and attractions. Good service overall! Car park bays are always available. Nice and tasty breakfast with smiling waitresses and waiters! The room is clean and tidy. It can be tight for a couple, but that's normal as per our expectations. Luggages need to be carried through the staircase and help is available, if you ask!

What a lovely guesthouse. From checking us in at reception to accommodating us for an early start takeaway breakfast the customer service was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I stayed for a work trip but will return with my family in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Our room was quite small & at the back of property, en suite is tiny but lovely hot water ,lovely comfy bed & towels, room was very dark & noisy from people walking about above us & loud banging noises from doors closing. The 2x dining rooms are nice & staff were very efficient & accommodating,full English breakfast was OK but definitely not cooked fresh , lounge area has a bar & TV, & board games for a cosy evening in .this guest house is on the main rd so there's a carpark to the front & a table & 4 chairs for anyone wishing to sit out ,its shaded by tall trees, hence the name , woodlands ,It's in a great location for Windermere town being a 5 minute walk & the pier a good 20 mins down hill , it is on a bus route at £3 a journey , lots of eating places & gift shops , boat cruises run every day great scenery. It's a lovely place to visit , 😊

Our 1st stay and will not be our last. We had room 7 with a carved wood 4 poster which had the instant WOW factor when you walked in the room. The hotel is stunning. We loved the lounge areas and the breakfast room is so beautifully presented with pleasant outlook. The breakfast itself was 5 🌟.. linen napkins, the best coffee and a full English that was perfection. Staff are absolutely lovely. Can't wait to return!
