Penruddock sits on the fellside where woodland shelters the landscape. Ramblers Rest is a compact cabin positioned next to Brow Wood, with views down the valley and direct access to countryside walking. The location puts you within a mile of a pub and close to the Hutton John Estate; the setting itself is the main draw, especially in quieter months when the fells are least crowded.
The cabin holds one bedroom with a super king bed and one bathroom, sleeping two people in a single open-plan space that combines lounge, kitchen and dining. The kitchen has an oven, induction hob and fridge for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Solar-powered underfloor heating keeps the interior warm whatever the Cumbrian weather does outside. One dog stays free.
A hot tub on the decking faces the views, and there is parking within 50 yards. The cabin is non-smoking. You arrive after 15:00 and leave by 10:00.
