Flusco Wood

We have just had a week at the flusco wood lodges. It was outstanding in every way. Staff so helpful and always smiling. The lodge was luxury and we stayed in a dog friendly lodge and was so clean . We couldn't fault the complex grounds so clean and well kept.i would not hesitate to book again thank you for making our holiday special

Stopped here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend as a couple with 2 dogs. I can honestly say that this place is amazing. Its in a perfect location just off the A66 15 minutes from keswick. The site is lovely and peaceful with a large green for the dogs to be able to roam and also a designated dogs park which is nicely secured. The check in was nice a simple and the staff are nice and freindly. As for the lodge itself, its wonderful, the hot tub was maintained daily and consantly at a good temperature. Inside the lodge was spacious and very clean with essentials for the perfect weekend away. I would 100% reccomend this place and will definetly be visiting again in the future.

Had a lovely stay to celebrate our anniversary. Very peaceful, quiet and stunning views. Close to the dual carriageway, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting Keswick market, Penrith, Whitehaven, Canoeing on Derwent water and St Bees beach (which the dogs really enjoyed!). Hot tub was amazing and checked over every day, even found ourselves stargazing the clear night skies. Accommodation had great facilities and super clean. The decking was great for the dogs. And the lodge felt very big - definitely notice the difference over a crowded caravan. The smart tv was great, and kitchen was great for cooking etc with everything provided. And the private gate opening to our reg made it super easy to get in/out. Dog sofa was a nice touch as well. Staff very helpful and were available to contact throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend

We stayed at flusco wood in a Lakewood Lodge for a week at the end of April and it was absolutely perfect! Lodge was spotlessly clean, and was the perfect size. Beds really comfortable, hot tub checked every day, the view from the lodge (we stayed in Stickle) was unbelievable sitting in our hot tub! Our golden retriever also had the best time and it is super dog friendly. We walked her at the field everyday and she loved it. We are already talking about booking to come back later this year! We felt like Flusco was the perfect base for what we were doing. 10 mins to Pooley Bridge, Aira Force and Penrith, 20 mins to Keswick, 30/40 mins Ambleside/Windermere. Thank you so much for the best week, and we will definitely be back!!
