The North Pennines National Landscape draws walkers, cyclists and those after mountain air, and Red Kite puts you within reach of it all. Rowley Baptist Church sits nearby, and a pub is less than a mile away on foot. The highest market town in England is close by, giving access to shops, cafés and the usual services without feeling urban. An EV charger on-site means those with electric cars can arrive and stay without range anxiety.
This is a substantial house sleeping ten across four bedrooms: a master with a super king bed (convertible to twins), a king, a double, and a fourth with bunk beds. Three bathrooms mean mornings run smoothly. The kitchen is properly fitted—Rangemaster cooker, American-style fridge, dishwasher—so cooking for a crowd is straightforward rather than a squeeze. A wood-burning stove and central heating keep things warm. Games are left out for quieter evenings indoors, and the dining room works for planning tomorrow or a family meal. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; an initial supply of logs comes with the house.
The whole place is yours alone. Smoking is not permitted. Arriving after 4pm and departing by 10am are the usual timings.
