Riverside Mill & Glamping Pod

A traditional stone cottage sits on the banks of the River Mint, its single-storey layout built on ground level with an adjoining glamping pod that houses an extra bedroom and shower room. The main house contains three bedrooms—two with super king beds and one with a single—plus a family bathroom with bath and shower. The annexe sleeps additional guests in a bunk bed setup and single bed. Electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are provided; the underfloor heating in the glamping pod and woodburner in the living area keep things warm in winter.

The open-plan living space has a 40-inch television with streaming services, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with a full oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Patio doors lead from the living area to a balcony overlooking the grounds. The lawned garden includes a private hot tub for six, patio seating and a gas barbecue. On-site parking accommodates five cars. Fishing is available on the river itself (licence required). The property suits families and groups; note there is an unfenced river two yards from the house and several steps and level changes throughout the grounds. Kendal lies four miles away, with the Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales within reach for walking and cycling.
