The Oaks

Built in 2023, The Oaks is a substantial single-storey lodge designed for groups and families who want space without climbing stairs. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan living area with a woodburner and bifold doors opening onto a patio are arranged across one level, with the master bedroom offering an ensuite. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; the wood burner's initial fuel is provided too. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and there is parking for three cars on site.

The property sits in Great Strickland, a quiet village in the Eden Valley. A pub serving food is within a mile's walk. Penrith is five miles away. The Lake District National Park starts two miles off, and the surrounding countryside offers cycling and fell walking. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
