The Woodland

Step into The Woodland and you're met with a single-storey layout designed around an open-plan living space. The kitchen flows into a dining area and lounge warmed by a woodburner, with bi-fold doors opening onto a private patio. All three bedrooms sit on the same level too—two with king beds and one with zip-and-link singles that can stay as twins. Two bathrooms serve the six guests, one an ensuite to the master bedroom with both bath and walk-in shower.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and American fridge freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The rear garden has seating and a BBQ; parking fits three cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.

The property sits near Kendal on the edge of Westmorland and Furness, with a pub a mile away and the Lake District National Park within reach for fell walking and cycling. It works for families, groups of friends, or anyone after space and comfort in a single-storey base.
