Urswick Road Cottages - Bramble Cottage

Bramble Cottage is a three-bedroom property near Dalton-in-Furness, renovated to run on solar power and heated by an air source heat pump with underfloor heating. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor, two single beds also downstairs, and a second double upstairs. There are two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. The ground floor is open plan, combining the living area, dining space and kitchen in one room, with a Freeview Smart TV and all the cooking equipment you need. The first-floor bedroom has its own en-suite.

Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Outside there is a lawned garden with rear patio and seating, and parking for three cars on the property. A highchair and stairgate are available if needed. No smoking is permitted inside.

The cottage sits within reach of Coniston Water and the Old Man of Coniston, popular with walkers and cyclists, and the South Lakes Wild Animal Park is about ten minutes away. Dalton-in-Furness has pubs, restaurants and local shops; Ulverston, slightly further north, offers more choice including independent retailers. Lake Windermere is roughly 20 minutes' drive away for those interested in boating.
