Woodside Cottage

Woodside Cottage is built from stone and centres on a living space dominated by a working woodburner, with the kitchen opening directly off it and a dining area nearby. Accommodation spans three floors: on the ground level is the main living area and kitchen; the first floor holds a double bedroom and a family bathroom with both bath and separate shower; the second floor has two further bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles) and a second shower room. The property sleeps up to six and comes with parking for two cars, wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels all included.

The cottage sits on the South Lakes Peninsula within reach of Newby Bridge, where riverside pubs, the Lakes Aquarium and Windermere cruises are five minutes' drive away. A longer drive takes you to Ambleside, Grasmere, Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. Walkers find 214 Wainwright fells within easy reach, and cycling routes are plentiful nearby. The coast is eight miles away. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking is permitted indoors.
