There's an enclosed garden and a cobbled courtyard for sitting outside, plus parking for three cars and a bike store.

Essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, wi-fi and logs for the woodburner are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The cottage sits in quiet countryside with the Pennine Hills visible from the upper rooms. A children's play area is just across the road, and a well-regarded 17th-century pub is within a short walk. The market town of Penrith, three miles away, has shops and restaurants. Rheged, a family attraction with galleries, cinema and craft activities, is also nearby. Note that the property has stairs to the first floor and may not suit guests with limited mobility.
