Ullswater and Pooley Bridge lie just three miles away, putting water sports, lakeside walks and local pubs within easy reach. Tirril Lodge is close enough to walk to for a meal, and Yanwath's restaurant sits a mile further on. The North Lakes' fell walking starts practically on the doorstep, while Keswick and Windermere are both within an hour or two by car if you want to explore further afield.
Primrose Bank is a detached barn conversion sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor has a living room with an open fire and patio doors onto the garden, plus a kitchen with electric oven and dishwasher, and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a kingsize and a pull-out single, one with two three-quarter doubles, and one with two singles. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the fire. A lawned garden has seating, and the property offers parking for three cars, a store for bikes and boats, and space to arrange leisure storage on the owners' nearby farm if needed. One dog is welcome, though must stay on a lead in this sheep farming area. No smoking throughout.
