New Birchfield Hotel

The room I had was newly decorated, clean and had all the usual facilities. However, certain details looked like they hadn't been finished off, such as the window blind was too small, the light was missing the plastic dome over it, there was some paint on the carpet, etc.. Facilities in the hotel were minimal, such as no breakfast served. However, as a cheap hotel to get your head down, it was fine

Well the good points first 1 bed comfy 2 shower hot and powerful 3 TV worked Right on to the rest. Got there and they said no booking through booking.com then found it. Decor very dated and carpets not very clean looking. Reception staff not over friendly or helpful. Rooms need gutting from top to bottom. Bedding creased and covered in black fluff. Very thin pillows so thin that they put 2 in 1. Carpet and curtains very shabby and dated and dirty looking. Walls had holes in them. The shower door missing so water went all over the floor. One toilet roll. Tap in sink leaked and dripping constantly worse as time went on. No towels in room. No toiletries apart from a small piece of soap not fit for purpose. Paid for a bigger room with sea view did not get this and they said they were full which I find hard to believe. Very small kettle on a short lead still had water in it from previous use. 3 loose tea bags , coffee sachets and sugar no milk. Overall avoid this place if you want a nice stay in Weston.

Birchfield hotel western super mare disgusting booked on line charge 79£ 1 NIGHT for Friday night bit said I booked for Saturday night I dont think I did but I looked and I did by mistake so they said cancel and rebooted payed another 65£ fine BUT NO REFUND LOST 79£ and hotel id dirty I have loads of pictures of the condition for the room , my son has asma dust , mould , tv no lead dusty , used items left in drawers and wardrobe smells of mould room 503 , do not book this hotel may be cheap but you pay for whot you get but could been cleaned DISGUSTING

Arrived and had trouble finding parking nearby but after 20 min found somewhere suitable & not too expensive. Entering the hotel it stunk of cigarette smoke, not nice at all. Soon we were checked in & managed to find our room 402 which was on the 3rd floor...bit confusing. The room was big enough but bed was not made, sheets not cleaned and there were no towels anywhere either. On our way down to reception we bumped into the guy checking us in near our room & we showed him what we found. He seemed surprised too about the state of the room and apologised & told us he would sort the problem. On our return, hours later we found 2 towels & the bedsheets were put over the bed but I don't believe they were clean as they looked unironed all over. Maybe a new look? We couldn't complain asbit was past 11pm & no staff was to be found anywhere. We won't return!
