Had a lovely 2 night stay here last week albeit for work. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. Stephen was a great host for breakfast and it was lovely on both days. I had a sea view from my room and it was warm and cosy, beds made daily and given a little spruce up and tea making items were replaced daily. If you're looking for somewhere affordable and cosy with great staff and a friendly atmosphere you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better.

Great start with the warmest of welcomes from the team they made me feel very welcome 😊 Jonathan is a lovely guy couldn’t do enough for me during my time here. And also his team are amazing nothing was any trouble. Breakfast in the morning a full English cooked to perfection. Amazing location being on the seafront with everything you need on your doorstep. The rooms are clean,cosy and lovely comfortable beds and feels home from home. I highly recommended the Richmond hotel to anyone whether it being a sort or long stay. Thank you all for a wonderful few days stay.

Stayed for 1 night . Hotel owner very nice guy and the staff friendly ... Room looked very dated to be honest. Main light not working in the room and the carpet in the room was very wet down the one side cobwebs on the ceiling .. could do with being updated abit . Location very good by the carpark and 30seconds walk to the beach...

Don’t want to do this but not getting anywhere with them We checked in for 1 night the owner was lovely and helpful the rooms are very dated dusty and carpet seen better days after long drive we needed to stop off so seemed ok for just 1 night but after checking out today on the way home I started itching all over get home and put my shorts on I then noticed I have all bite red marks over me I contacted my doctor who referred me to pharmacy who looked at them and confirmed it was bed bugs 🐜 I was given antihistamines and a soothing gel and was told I have now have to wash everything boiled wash so they don’t go in my own bed When seeing the room we should of refused check in but we was that tiered and owner was nice the wasent cheap and we wanted some kind of refund but they refused so I’m going seek legal advice about this I have photos ect here is one of them Fake reply they ask for you to email them but don’t reply
