This hotel and host, Steve were absolutely amazing! We booked very last minute and were seriously pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The decor is gorgeous and so much thought has gone into every detail. Candles lit when we arrived back, a story to welcome you, the book in your room that the room is based on and Steve made us feel so welcome. Location perfect and honestly, we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for making this visit so special. We will definitely be back in the future. This place really does tell a story!

We’ve just returned from a 2-night stay at Chapter 1, and it was faultless from start to finish. We were in Weymouth for a special event, and Steve went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. From selecting a beautiful room to the thoughtful personal touches, he made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. The hotel itself is stunning - stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and in a perfect location. The sea view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The Italian-style breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were warm, friendly and chatty, which made the mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Chapter 1. It's personal, unique and full of charm. A huge thank you to Steve and the team for such a wonderful experience.
