The proprietors were pleasant, friendly and helpful and very kindly gave us an upgrade with a room overlooking the park. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable, and we had a sofa, fridge and kettle which were greatly appreciated during our stay. Broomfield House is a charming period property with original features, only a few minutes' walk from Whitby Harbour. There is free on-street parking just minutes away. We would stay there again.

Fantastic stay. The location is perfect, short walk from the centre but far enough to be peaceful. Room was spotless and comfortable. Tea, coffee, and biscuits were available for free in the room- and also Easter eggs, as we came around that time, which was a lovely surprise and so kind! Hosts couldn't have been more friendly and all communication was straightforward and clear. Genuinely couldn't have been better in any way. Stand out for me was the personal recommendations on food and things to do in the guide book, which meant experienced a bunch of stuff we wouldn't have even known to look for before. Also, appreciated the pride flags in the hall and on the door - a small thing but made us both feel very welcome. Only thing I could say for future travellers is that the walls were a tiny bit thin - just a feature the age of the building itself. Genuinely only a tiny bit, and didn't bother us, but if you are a very sensitive sleeper maybe bring ear plugs just in case.

Thank you, we had an amazing stay at Broomfield House. The room was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked — from an ironing board and iron to a hairdryer, a great selection of teas and coffee, a Google Play speaker, fridge, and bottled water. The bed was incredibly comfortable with high-quality bedding, and the fluffy white towels were a lovely touch that made it feel extra special. Everything about the stay was thoughtful and well put together. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

A lovely comfortable room and genuine caring family owners. Answered any questions and solved queries at the drop of a hat going above and beyond what was expected to make our break a beautiful relaxing time. Highly reccomended and will certainly visit again. Thankyou
